General situation of Huili

  Huili is located at the southernmost end of Liangshan. It covers an area of 4527 square kilometers, with an average annual temperature of 15.1 degrees Celsius, an average rainfall of 1140 meters and a forest coverage rate of 52%. There are 29 ethnic groups, such as Han, Wu, Dai, Xiangqiu, Hui, Miao and Bai. It is a typical multi-ethnic county.
  According to archaeological findings, as early as the late Neolithic age, there were human beings in Huili County, which created Huili's ancient culture. Huili, which is full of Shu charm and wave style, got its name because of "the combination of Chuanyuan and Huili, and the praise of Zhengping". It was called Huiwu and Huichuan in ancient times. In the sixth year of Yuanding (111 BC), Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty set up the county. Huili has been the national corridor of kangzang and Yunnan Guizhou Plateau since ancient times. It defines the ancient "Shu Shendu road", which is an important post station and material distribution center on the western line of the Southern Silk Road from Sichuan to Yunnan. The ethnic migration and economic and cultural exchanges from south to North left Huili with multi-ethnic historical and cultural relics and folk customs, known as "key to Sichuan and Yunnan".
  There are 1 national key cultural relics protection unit, 8 cultural relics protection units in Sichuan Province, 1 cultural relics protection unit in Liangshan Prefecture and 36 cultural relics protection units in Huili County. Jiaopingdu Red Army river crossing site and Huili meeting memorial site are the first batch of 100 red tourism classic scenic spots in China, and Huili is an important node of 30 red tourism boutique routes in China.
  From the perspective of humanities, Huili has an early history, profound cultural heritage, simple folk customs, rich red resources and numerous cultural relics. It is a famous national historical and cultural city; Secondly, the national culture is rich and colorful, with unique charm, especially the dance family's big name, Fanna, enthusiastically foot dance and folk songs. Yi's trombone spray, Yi's foot walking dance, Huili's green glazed ceramic handicrafts and Huili's red copper hot pot making skills have been listed as "intangible cultural heritage of Sichuan Province" by Sichuan Provincial People's government; Xiaoheiguan and Guanhe are "the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art".
  From the natural point of view, Huili belongs to the semi humid climate zone in the west of the middle subtropical zone, with mild climate, no severe cold in winter, no cool weather, dense forest and good vegetation coverage. Huili is rich in high-quality pomegranates. It has won the titles of "the first pomegranate County in China" and "China's high-quality pomegranate production base". It is also rich in autumn fruit products.
